Job Title: Support Engineer

We are a Seattle-based consulting and hosting firm, a Microsoft Preferred Vendor and Microsoft Silver Hosting Partner. We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Support Engineer, working out of the Company’s office in Seattle, Washington.  This role is primarily focused on supporting the customers/users of our cloud computing operation, acting as a technical support resource during regular business hours as well as scheduled evening and weekend coverage shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • You will work with Microsoft technologies such as Exchange, Lync Server, Dynamics CRM, SharePoint and Active Directory, deployed in a hosted, multi-tenant environment. 
  • As we greatly value personal growth and ongoing professional development, you will work towards achieving appropriate Microsoft Certified Professional certifications as agreed with your manager, focusing on appropriate Microsoft server technologies such as Windows Server, Exchange, Lync, CRM and SharePoint.
  • You will help customers deploy, operate, and troubleshoot Microsoft infrastructure technologies and hosted solutions.
  • Other special projects as assigned by manager.

 Experience:

  • Tier-2 support experience with Microsoft Technologies.
  • Customer service focus and mindset, including willingness to be on call outside normal business hours.
  • Effective communications skills, including maintaining high-level customer satisfaction under stress.
  • Technical depth in some or all of the following: Windows Server, Exchange, Lync, CRM, SharePoint, MOM/SCOM, IIS and Active Directory, as well as networking technologies including DNS, switches (ideally Cisco), firewalls etc.
  • Expertise in server hardware installation and configuration.
  • Understanding of systems operations practices and procedures.
  • The ideal candidate will hold one or more current Microsoft Certifications.
